Canberra Bound

Posted on July 26, 2011 by lovethepano No Comments

I’m at 32,000 (or thereabouts) feet and heading to Canberra. I’m trying to think of where my last domestic photography trip took me. I’m pretty sure it was Kangaroo Island. That was a great location. This trip will take me to the ACT highlands near Canberra, visiting a photog named Bill Corn who I met while working for Australia Zoo. Bill tells me we will be looking for wild Brumbies, old ranger huts and visiting a place called The Valley of a Thousand Kangaroos. We won’t be far from the Snowy Mountains so they may make an appearance in some landscapes, sunrise and sunset photos. It’s going to cold but I look forward to capturing some more of this amazing land and animals our country has to offer.
