Kangaroo Island Day 1

Have you been to Kangaroo Island? If not then put it on your to do list and move it straight to the top. This is my first full day here and what I notice on this day is the shear unspoiled magic of the place. I can’t imagine it will stay like so for too long. Today I stumbled upon a magical spot called Baudin Beach. A couple of snorkelers and a fisherman and that was it. You could have mistaken this place for a tropical paradise, but without the crowd. I have never seen water so clear as it was at this beach in my entire life. Today I drove 160km in total from Kingscote to Penneshaw, stopping off at such random places. I even climbed a spot called Prospect Hill. A place where Captain Matthew Flinders first set foot in the early 1800′s. Kangaroo Island is rich in history, and wildlife and I look forward to exploring this great spot further in the coming days.
